Seattle Wedding Photographer

Tegan Wallace and Chad Lindhorst  and all of ther people attending their wedding at the Washington Park Arboretum Meadow in October. Afterwards everyone headed over to  Blue Ribbon Cooking, for the reception. It was a great day and it did not rain until well after the reception was underway which was a good thing because they did not have a backup plan for the ceremony at the Arboretum. WILLOWS LODGE WEDDING PANORAMA

January 24th, 2012

PANORAMA

Tova Emry and Jaime Zaret had their wedding ceremony inside the Willows Lodge and just after the end of the ceremony, everyone headed outside where it was clear and cool but not raining for a wedding panorama group portrait. Tova and Jaime and their family and friends look so good together in this picture. Here is a link  WILLOWS LODGE WEDDING PICTURES to the rest of the photos from their wedding that I previously highlighted on this blog.

Lindsay Petterson and David Walz came to Seattle from Minneapolis, MN, to get married on New Years Day. They chose a romantic escape from the freezing weather of a Minnesota winter and fly to balmy Seattle.  After the wedding for a honeymoon, they drove down the coast through Oregon and California.  Only their immediate family were invited so it was a very intimate wedding.  The ceremony was in the Foxglove Guesthouse, an intimate bed and breakfast. It is a lovingly restored 1905 “Seattle Box”.  Annemarie Juhlianwas their officiant for a beautiful ceremony. We went to Volunteer Park and the Seattle Asian Art Museum for pictures before the ceremony. We were blessed with wonderful weather and slightly overcast sunshine.

Here are some highlights of their day with a slideshow at the bottom of the post.

Above. After the ceremony Lindsay and David went to the Pike’s Place Market and strooled around.

Kirsten Mielke and Jason Hervin  were married at The Cove in Normandy Park on a very beautiful day last summer. I am just now getting around to posting their panorama here. It was a wondeul place for a wedding and I love this panorama. the light was changing but I liked the way it came out.

What a wonderful way to start off a New Year. On New Years Day I had the pleasure to photograph an unusual wedding.

Lindsay and David, who live in Minneapolis, MN, have been together for 6 years and decided to get married. They are not your average couple and they their wedding was not going to be your average wedding.

They chose a romantic escape from the freezing weather of a Minnesota winter and fly to balmy Seattle. They always wanted to go to Seattle and this was their chance. After the wedding they planned to drive down the coast through Oregon and California. Here are a few highlights of their day. After I finish processing the rest I will again post some more pictures from Lindsay and David’s New Years wedding.

Only their immediate family were invited so it was one of the smallest weddings I have photographed. They were married in the Foxglove Guesthouse, an intimate bed and breakfast. It is a lovingly restored 1905 “Seattle Box”. This is an authentic Arts and Crafts house furnished with period furniture, American art pottery and Northwest Native American art. They also had a suite there for a few nights. Annemarie Juhlianwas their officiant and was just the right person to marry them.

After the ceremony we headed downtown for some pictures and before it was time for the dinner, we stopped in at Elliott’s Oyster House, on the waterfront. Neither of them had ever had an oyster, but one of the promises they had made was to experience new and different things together.
