Engagement Portraits of Melissa and Zen At UW

Melissa and Zen a really fun couple to be around. We had a very playful portrait session on Friday at the university of Washington campus. We headed there to see the famous cherry trees which are already in full bloom. They are amazing to see at this time of year. No wonder the Japanese make viewing  flowers a national past time. “Hanami is an important Japanese custom and is held all over Japan in spring. Hanami literally means viewing flowers, but it generally indicates cherry blossom viewing. It’s said that the origin of hanami dates back to more than one thousand years ago when aristocrats enjoyed looking at beautiful cherry blossoms and wrote poems.” Zena and Melissa also brought along some toys and Monica Frisell and I had a great time playing out a number of games with them. Here are a few of my favorites from the day. Seattle Engagement Portraits at the University of Washington under the Cherry Trees in full bloom.
