When Lindsay Sykes and Tim O’Connor discovered they were too late to book Sodo Park, their preferred wedding venue, they didn’t stress. Without too much ado, they went ahead and booked the place for a Monday, July 15. They were equally cool and relaxed throughout their wedding day. It was a real pleasure photographing them, their friends and family. We started off at the Olympic Sculpture Park where Lindsey and Tim got to see each other for the first time all dressed up and ready for the big day. Next, we headed over to the 107-year-old King Street Train Station, recently restored to its original grandeur (at a cost of $55 million) with marble walls, glass mosaic tile wall band, terrazzo floors and a new grand chandelier, above picture. Finally, we went to Sodo Park for the ceremony and reception. We got hundreds of great shots. Below is a selection of my favorites that sum up the story and the mood of the event.
