If you have been following this blog, you may remember that 2 years ago I photographed the baby belly of Molly when she was 9 months pregnant, and 2 days later baby Harper came. Although this blog is usually devoted to wedding photography I wanted to post an update now that she just turned 2. What a cutie! she loved playing “Where’s the baby” with me. see the next pictures below.

Newborn Baby Ella at one day old.

One week after I photographed Shauna and her baby belly, guess who arrived? It was baby Ella Alicia who came forth at Swedish Hospital weighing in at 7 pounds, 4 ounces and 18 inches long.

Tom and Lisa were married a few years ago and I was at their wedding for them. Then their first child Francis was born two years and I photographed her. Just about a month ago Sam arrived. Now it was his turn for me to make some baby pictures.
Sam was napping when I arrived. I let sleeping baby sleep. Nothing cuter than a sleeping baby.

Except for a yawning baby.

Sam was not happy when he woke up and saw me with my camera in his face. I can not blame him.

Lisa gave him a topping off which put him in a better mood.

Then Francis came over to get in on the fun. I will post a separate entry for a few of her pictures later.

Belly Bump Picture made on Sunday…….

…on Tuesday she arrived as a  newborn baby. Above baby picture shows  bella baby Harper at six days of age. She is so amazing to see. My youngest daughter Claire is now 7 1/2 years old so it has been a while since I have been with such a cute baby. Actually there have been a number of other cute babies since then but each one seems so special.

If you have been following this blog, a few weeks ago Molly and April came into the studio on a Sunday in the beginning of December for a baby belly picture session. Two days later their very bella baby daughter, Harper McAllister Sather was born.   After 5 more  days later I dropped their house by to make some newborn baby pictures of her to complete the second half of the before and after photos. . Talk about good timing. Here are our first but not our last newborn baby photographs of her. Below are some more baby pictures from the same session.  ( Although baby pictures are not very common on this blog, they will occasionally make an appearance. After all, first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the couple with a baby carriage…..)

Molly with Harper in her arms. I have been returning to photographing with an old Hasselblad and black and white film and I have to say I really enjoy the results. Not that I will give up on digital, but film is back in my arsenal of photographic tools.
