Miracal Bjornstrom and Aaron Watson were married at DeLille Cellars on the last weekend in October on a beautiful, mild and partly sunny afternoon The forecast was for rain and it did indeed rain in the morning but by mid afternoon the sun came out for a glorious afternoon and evening. Aaron and Miracal are a very happy and loving couple. You can see the love in their eyes in many of these pictures. It was a pleasure photographing their wedding day.

Before the ceremony we made some portraits in different spots around the wonderful grounds and gardens of DeLille Cellars Winery in softly filtered  late afternoon sunlight. Some wonderful food and service was provided by Blue Ribbon Cooking & Culinary Center.  My favorite highlights are presented here and a slideshow of more are at the bottom of this post.

DeLILLE CELLARS Wedding Panorama

November 14th, 2011

On July 17th, Ann Krembs and Mark Casey had a DeLille Cellars Wedding, in Woodenville. DeLille is one of my favorite place for an outdoor wedding and one of the reasons is this pond which reflects very nicely when people stand alongside it. This is what we did right after Ann and Mark’s wedding ceremony. Other features of the grounds there are the sheep grazing in the field behind the people above.

After a week of rain here in the Pacific Northwest, signaling the start of a cool wet winter, it was very pleasant to experience a beautiful, mild and partly sunny afternoon on Saturday, as Miracal Bjornstrom and Aaron Watson were married at DeLille Cellars. They held the wedding ceremony inside the tent as the beautiful ground were still quite soggy, but we did get to do some photography before the ceremony in different spots around the wonderful grounds and gardens in softly filtered  late afternoon sunlight. Outstanding food and service was provided by Blue Ribbon Cooking & Culinary Center. Here are a few images to preview the rest that will come after being edited and processed.

Ann Krembs and Mark Casey were on Safari in Africa when they met. Mark saved Ann from a charging rhino and they returned to Seattle and were married on July 17th at DeLille Cellars, one of my favorite place for an outdoor wedding. Ann’s sons Conor, 9 and Seamus,7,  were on hand and had important roles in the wedding ceremony. I loved the intermixing of the different colored sands. The grounds there are amazing with the sheep grazing and the beautiful pond with a peninsular jutting out where their ceremony took place.
Actually they really met online not on an African safari, but it made a good story when they first told it. Rain threatened to spoil the day (which was so common this summer) but it did not deter Ann and Mark from making a commitment to go ahead and hold their ceremony outside at DeLille Cellars since the garden and landscaping was why they choose it for their wedding. The food and service was outstanding and was provided by Landau’s Catering and Events.

Here are some highlights of their day.

Yesterday, once again the weather was not acting as it typically does in July. It was cool and there were heavy showers in the morning. Even by mid-afternoon the skies were overcast. The threat of rain however did not deter Ann and Mark from making a commitment to go ahead and hold their ceremony outside at DeLille Cellarson the Woodinville – Redmond Road.  Afterall, the beautiful garden and landscaping was why they choose the location for their wedding celebration. It turned out to be fine and they had a wonderful wedding celebration. In fact there were a few light showers later when everyone was dining inside the Chateau of DeLille Cellars, which must be one of my most favorite venues for a wedding. I have to admit that their wine, some of the best made in Washington State, is one of my favorites. The food and service, which was outstanding, was provided by Landau’s Catering and Events.

I have picked a few images to preview before Ann and Mark take off for their honeymoon  in Mexico.
