Here is the large group wedding panorama portrait of all of the guest, family and friends attending Stacie Huffman and John Lee on August 29th at the Mountain River Resort near Easton, Washington. We made it just after the beautiful outdoor service under some towering trees on the banks of the river. The main lodge building is the backdrop of the wedding panoramis photograph.

The family and friends of Alyson Routt and Thomas Stachiw just after their wedding ceremony on the stern of the Skansonia Ferry on Lake Union. Another in a series of large group wedding panoramas I like to make whenever I can get the chance. This one was a breeze as the Skansonia is so easy to shoot from the bridge down on the group. I really love the water in the background.

Twilight wedding portrait.

Alyson Routt and Thomas Stachiw were married on the Skansonia Ferry on Lake Union of August 21st on a wonderful summer evening. Not to hot or too cool the sun was there when needed for some formal photos before the ceremony and then retreated behind some high cloud cover for an interesting sunset sky. Their families and friends witnessed the ceremony on the stern of the boat with red roses the focus of the decorations. Just below is a photo gallery below of some of the highlights. Click on a thumbnail and it will enlarge.
To see a slide show of the wedding go to the client page of A Beautiful Day Photography under information or click here Wedding Photography Slide Show of Alyson and Thomas.

Kathy-Chris

Kathy and Chris were married at the Lake Union Crew Boathouse on September 12th and right after the ceremony we got everyone together on the dock for the large group panoramic photograph. It was kind of fun even though there was some water coming up through the deck boards so some feet got wet.

The bouquet.
Kerri Higgins and Graham Sheldon got married on August 15th at McCurdy Park and the Museum of History and Industry,  MOHAI. It was a beautiful summer day with great sunlight and warm temperatures. The complete wedding has been edited and will be uploaded to the client section of the A Beautiful Day Photography website shortly as soon as the slide show is done, but I wanted to get thwese few pictures up here first to tease to what will be coming. There are so many really great photos from the day it is hard to select.

I have been getting asked if I have ever photographed an Indian wedding before and so I though I would post a few of the photographs from Eshwar and Nafisa’ wedding here. They were married back in 2004 and they flew me over to Bangalore, India to cover their celebration I had photographed a few Indian weddings before but this was my first real Indian wedding to photograph in India. it was awesome. There were festivities to cover for more than 4 days. And when I was not photographing the festivities, I went out on the streets of Bangalore to witness and photograph the life of that great city. It was an unforgetable trip.
I was still shooting film back then for weddings and shot more than 75 rolls of the wedidng, perhaps 2/3rds in black and white and the rest in color. I made the above candid wedding photograph with the panorama camera and really like this photo. the two below were also made with the same large format camera and are of the family of the bride and groom and the bottom was taken in Seatle where they had a second Moslem ceremony.
