Seattle Wedding Photographers Blog of Candid Wedding Photography

The Farm Kitchen, an 18-acre organic farm near Poulsbo is a great outdoor location for a wedding and Susan Stowers and Bob Markey were married there on August 21st. We made this wedding portrait just steps away from where they said their vows.

On July 17th, Ann Krembs and Mark Casey had a DeLille Cellars Wedding, in Woodenville. DeLille is one of my favorite place for an outdoor wedding and one of the reasons is this pond which reflects very nicely when people stand alongside it. This is what we did right after Ann and Mark’s wedding ceremony. Other features of the grounds there are the sheep grazing in the field behind the people above.

Immediately after Ann and Jonathan’s wedding ceremony outside the Summit House on top of Crystal Mountain, everyone gathered together for a group panorama portrait and what a grand panorama it is with Mount Rainier right there in the background. Ther were no clouds at this point so the view made the mountain look so close although within a hour it was socked in.

Just to the left of Ann in the white hat center, you may see someone is holding up a laptop computer hooked up to a connection using Skype to show Jonathan’s mom what was going on since she was unable to attend the ceremony. It is fitting that her virtual self is pictured in the group panoram portrait.

Kelly Johnson and Garth Merrill were married inside the historic old ferry MV Skansonia because the weather was cool and rainy but after the ceremony the rain stopped and they had their friends and family join them out on the deck for their wedding panorama large group portrait. It was dark because it was January but with the help of some strobes we got everyone lit up.

Craig Chapman and Margaret Roller were married on the dock at the Lake Union Crew Boathouse Sept 19th on a beautiful afternoon and after the ceremony their friends and family joined them on the deck for their wedding panorama large group portrait.
