Hot. Not a cloud in the sky. That was the kind of day that Erinn and Shawn were married on the last weekend in August aboard the historic MV Skansonia on Lake Union. It was one of those few really sunny days we had this summer and it really felt warm and summery all day. The brilliant light was a joy to work with although I was almost not remembering how to shoot with the rae in Seattle strong and direct sunshine. Erinn and Shawn and their friends in the  wedding party were a blast to photograph and we made a lot of creative posed pictures at Gasworks Park before all of the guests arrived. Here a few preview pictures from the many wonderful shots we made. It will be a while before they are all edited so I hope this holds you all for a while.

Nicole and Patrick were married last weekend aboard the historic old ferry MV Skansonia on Lake Union. It was one of those typical days where the weather started out cool and cloudy in the morning and I thought it would remain for a while as it is great outdoor photography light. But then the sun started coming through and it turned out to be a splendid day. With brilliant light. Here a few preview pictures from the many wonderful shots we made. It will be a while before they are all edited down to the final selection so this will have to hold you for a while.

Patrick made these gold rings himself. More on this in the next post.

Last night aboard the historic ferrMV Skansonia on Lake Union, Jamie and Kevin  were married on what turned out to a beautiful evening. The sun came out from behind the clouds where they had been hiding all day. After threatening a shower in the late afternoon, the sun burst through just Keven got set to walk down the aisle on the stern of the old ferry. It was the start of a wonderful wedding celebration and I have picked a few images to preview before Kevin and Jamie head out for their honeymoon sailing up to and through the San Juan Islands.

Liz Blankenship and Eric Aderhold were married aboard the historic old ferry MV Skansonia on Lake Union on the last weekend in May.  The weather that Friday was beautiful and the light was golden were lucky with one of the few really nice days weather wise of the year. I have previously posted pictures of Liz and Eric’s engagement and they are such a sweet couple and a lot of fun to hang out with.

Kelly Johnson and Garth Merrill were married inside the historic old ferry MV Skansonia because the weather was cool and rainy but after the ceremony the rain stopped and they had their friends and family join them out on the deck for their wedding panorama large group portrait. It was dark because it was January but with the help of some strobes we got everyone lit up.
