Right after Jamie Albert and Kevin Hood’s  a wedding ceremony we had everyone assemble on the front of the  ferryboat MV Skansonia for the large group wedding panorama. I really like the high vantage shooting position on the Skansonia for a panorama portrait.

Back in mid-July aboard the old retired ferryboat MV SkansoniaJamie Albert and Kevin Hood a really fun couple of people, were married on a beautiful evening. The sun came out from behind the clouds just as Keven got set to walk down the aisle on the stern of the old ferry. The wedding went well and everyone there seemed to be having a relaxed and fun time and the picture below of Jamie and Kevin with the hoola hoops kind of gets the fun message across best.

I previously posted some previews so here is a more extensive set of images highlights.

Hot. Not a cloud in the sky. That was the kind of day that Erinn and Shawn were married on the last weekend in August aboard the historic MV Skansonia on Lake Union. It was one of those few really sunny days we had this summer and it really felt warm and summery all day. The brilliant light was a joy to work with although I was almost not remembering how to shoot with the rae in Seattle strong and direct sunshine. Erinn and Shawn and their friends in the  wedding party were a blast to photograph and we made a lot of creative posed pictures at Gasworks Park before all of the guests arrived. Here a few preview pictures from the many wonderful shots we made. It will be a while before they are all edited so I hope this holds you all for a while.

Nicole and Patrick were married last weekend aboard the historic old ferry MV Skansonia on Lake Union. It was one of those typical days where the weather started out cool and cloudy in the morning and I thought it would remain for a while as it is great outdoor photography light. But then the sun started coming through and it turned out to be a splendid day. With brilliant light. Here a few preview pictures from the many wonderful shots we made. It will be a while before they are all edited down to the final selection so this will have to hold you for a while.

Patrick made these gold rings himself. More on this in the next post.

On board the MV Skansonia on Lake Union June 5th, Meghan Ahearn and Jesse Dungan and all of their friends took a leap of joy after their wedding ceremony on the rear deck. What great jumpers. Another beautiful spring evening in June, better than some of the days we are having this July.  Meghan and Jesse were so laid back. Meghan must be the most relaxed bride I have seen in years. Another wonderful touch was the bluegrass band they had play. They are called Northern Departure. Most everybody got up and danced to these 4 young guys palying bluegrass. It was great to watch and try and photograph people swinging around doing variations of country dancing.

Here are a few selected highlights and a bunch more in a slideshow here .
