Rachele Pavach and Chad Goodwin were married at the Mountain Springs Lodge in August and after the ceremony between the two stands of trees by a pond in the background, everyone walked around the pond to join the bride and groom to pose for this large group wedding panorama portrait. It was a beautiful setting for a wedding and I really like this panorama. It looks much better as a 12x 26 inch long print but that is the limitation of looking at pictures on the internet. Here is a link Mountain Springs Lodge Wedding to the rest of the photos from their wedding that I previously highlighted on this blog.

Rachele Pavach and Chad Goodwin planned to get married in August in the Cascades Mountains near Leavenworth, Washington and selected the Mountain Springs Lodge. Hidden in the small community of Plain, WA, near Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee it features expansive lawns, meandering creeks and quiet ponds and the Cascades Mountains for the perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding. Above is the setting for the ceremony between two stands of trees by a pond with the mountains in the distance. Just before the rain started.

Cards for table place setting hang from a log fence near the reception area.

In tune with the setting of a mountain ranch with a stable of horses, Rachele put on pink socks before slipping into her cowboy boots which you can see in a pictures of the wedding party  jumping for joy just after the ceremony.

This picture of a jump by the groom and his groomsmen and lady almost caused a problem as the wedding rings flew out of the pocket of the best man. He did recover them in time for the ceremony however so it just turned into a good story. The other good story was the weather. It had been hot but the chance of rain was predicted. The morning skies were clear and everything looked fine right up until after we finished making the formal portraits. Then it got dark and some showers started. Fortunately, they passed over quickly and it cleared up enough to have the ceremony as planned by the pond.

Although the sky was overcast for the wedding vows, just as Rachele and Chad walked down the aisle after the ceremony the sun came full out and and shined into their faces as they walked away. They gave a high five at that moment. Shortly after was the wedding party pictures with their poodle. Note Rachele’s cowboy boots.

At the end of the evening as Rachele and Chad headed back to the lodge walking under a moon partly hid by some clouds.
